Concept Abstract
This project explores the uncomfortable reality of being a woman. Even in today’s world, women are still unsafe and are constantly assaulted physically, mentally, emotionally, and psychologically.  In this experience, we aim to raise awareness of the daily dangers women face. These issues range from catcalling, unnecessary comments to heavier and morbid topics such as stalking and sexual assault.

In this experience invites viewers to be in the shoes of a woman by utilising visual and audio stimuli to create a immersive environment for the viewer. The 3 sided wall will be used to project the figures around the audience, overwhelming and overpowering the viewer as eyes bore into the audience, watching them as they walk past.
There are 3 stages, we included sound activated elements to further immerse the viewer’s experience. Scene changes are trigerred by voice recognition and keywords are required to intiate its function. For instance, the word “consent”. As they do so, the scene would switch and audios of recorded hate statements would play to install a sense of unease. Urging the player to do something, you can say the word “Stop“ to continue to the next scene. This action serves as a message for people to take initiative and help fight back against this ongoing unjust.

This project was exhibited as part of Singapore Art Week 2024 at Peace Centre.
